My first migraine was when I was 11 years old. For years I would go to doctors and tell them about my headaches and they just told me it was stress. Finally I told my OBGYN about my headaches and the severe ones, and he told me the severe ones were migraines. As years passed, I started having more and more headaches and migranes. It took years to get the correct diagnoses. Finally, after realizing I needed a neurologist with headaches as a specialty, I was diagnosed with Chronic Migraine.
