Our story…
Team Princess and the Pea named after our Team Captain, Allie, a migraine warrior. All funds raised will benefit The Brigham and Women's Hospital Headache Center to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs.
About 36 million people in the US have migraine. It affects men and women of all ages and across every socio-economic (educational and income) group. About 4 out of every 100 people have some form of daily headache, with migraine accounting for the largest part of that.
Worldwide, migraine is the 2nd leading cause of disabled days in men and women. It causes more disabled days than stroke, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis.
