Plantation Estates Longest Day Virtual 5K
Currently, 5.8 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease and this number is expected to increase to 14 million by the year 2050.
Together, the strength of our light will outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s disease.
On June 20 - the summer solstice (the longest day of the year)- people across the world will participate in a fundraising activity on The Longest Day to support those battling Alzheimer’s disease. This year, Plantation Estates, Acts Retirement-Life Communities is excited for our second annual 5K event and 1-mile fun run/walk for The Longest Day from June 20th - June 27th. All funds raised for the event will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association to support them in their research, awareness, and advocacy efforts. We would love for you, your family, and your friends to participate in this amazing virtual event.
RACE GUIDELINES
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, we encourage a headphone-free environment during the running of the Longest Day Virtual 5k.
Here's how it works...
 | Register for the Longest Day Virtual 5K. The cost is $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile Run/Walk (includes shipping) and we'll send out your shirt and swag. |
 | The Virtual 5K runs from June 20 - 27. You have one week to submit your 5k time into the Virtual Results. For more information on submitting your time, click here. You can run or walk your distance anytime that week. |

Registration Policies
- There are NO refunds for this race.
- Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions
- Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God".
