My Story…
On May 10, 2005, I was living in NYC & on a wellness kick after just turning 30. I had a standard test done at an ENT (he blew air into my ear) and I collapsed in the chair and went into shock. When I revived, I tried getting air, but couldn't focus my eyes. I vomited over the sides of garbage cans until a stranger took my phone from my outstretched hand and called my friend to help me.
After my friend rescued me, he had to help me with the necessities, then he called the doctors on my behalf and my family in Binghamton. My friend took me back to the doctor “who broke me” for surgery the following week. Instead of getting better, I got much worse - and was forced to my parents' home in Binghamton in hopes of recovering.
Like every migraine sufferer, I hoped this disease wouldn't last, but it's been anything but temporary. I so appreciate your support toward research in any way you are able.
