Help Denise raise money

Thank you for visiting my 2020 SCADaddle Fundraising page! This is my 3rd year participating in this amazing event, but this will be a first doing a virtual event due to COVID. In 2018 I helped chair the first MN SCADADDLE event and we had great success! In 2019 we grew the event even more and hit the $1,000,000 mark for funds raised for SCAD research! This year, you can join my team and run or walk the 5k “virtually” to help raise funds and awareness for this important SCAD research. SCAD is Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection, which is a rare condition that researchers are slowly learning more and more about... thanks to funds raised by events like this. SCAD can cause sudden cardiac arrest and often occurs in young, healthy individuals (usually women). My SCAD happened when I was 27 years old and caused my heart to go into v-fib. I was luckily in the right place at the right time and was saved by paramedics. Your support is greatly appreciated.
