Swift Cantrell Park Foundation

Raise money for Swift Cantrell Park Foundation

Swift-Cantrell Park serves as one of the premier recreation, relaxation and central gathering places for Cobb County residents. At 42 acres, Swift-Cantrell is the city of Kennesaw’s largest community park. The current features of this park include: two playground sets, a dog park, skateboard ramp, three picnic pavilions, two restroom buildings, one mile x 12-foot-wide perimeter trail, half-mile x 8-foot-wide inner-loop trail, shade structures, acres of open turf for passive recreation, and drinking fountains. There are future plans for improvements and additions to help the park meet the residents’ wants and needs.

The property is approximately 85% open fields, making it a great location to house many recreational facilities. After reaching out to the community the Steer Committee and WK Dickerson created a final Master Plan for the park. This plan will include the following elements:

Because of the cost for complete construction and the general size of the park, the construction will be done in phases.  Phase one has been completed but there is still much to be done to incorporate all of the elements listed above. To contribute toward the funding of a phase and/or a specific activity for the park check out our Donations page, or donate here on Race Roster!
