Our story…
In 2018 Dan was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, an aggressive cancer, in his right foot. To beat his cancer he needed to undergo amputation of his right leg. Since his diagnosis Dan has been a positive force in both our family and in our community. Our family is running this race to bring awareness to the sarcoma cancer diagnosis and to raise funds for research and grants to provide individuals with active wear prosthetics.
Although we can't be in Charlotte, NC for this race, we are hoping to beat our fundraising total from last year. This is an amazing organization and we are pleased to be a part of it, even from afar!
