I'm raising money for abortion access in Minnesota.
Hello, and thank you for supporting me as I run for our rights with NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota! NARAL is on the front lines of the fight for our reproductive rights every single day, which is why I steadfastly stand with this organization and am proudly serving my fourth term on its board (and fifth year as chair of the board). NARAL helps to ensure success for pro-choice candidates; is working hard at the legislature this session (even at a distance) to advance commonsense pro-choice legislation and combat legislation aimed at stripping away reproductive freedom; and is making sure that Minnesotans maintain safe and legal access to reproductive healthcare during the pandemic. This important work is never-ending, as are the associated expenses, which is why my goal is to raise $2,000 this year. Every dollar counts, but I hope you'll dig deep to help me meet my goal. As politicians across the country use the COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to limit access to abortion, here in Minnesota, we proudly declare that abortion is essential health care. And yet, Minnesota still has just five abortion clinics - the majority of which are located in the Twin Cities metro area. A majority of people in our state live in a county that has no abortion clinic, and anti-abortion fanatics are still attempting to roll back reproductive freedom on a daily basis from the Minnesota State Legislature.
