Did you know it’s now a Golden era for migraine due to new medications coming out over the next few years? This is due to research money! Chronic/Episodic Migraine is listed by WHO as the 2nd most disabling disease. The funding it gets yearly is minuscule compared to other equally disabling diseases and and this is because of the STIGMA. In fact, the knowledge base for most of these new breakthrough migraine meds was available 20 years ago but due to this STIGMA and lack of funding, it has taken decades to release targeted migraine medicines.
