Our story…
After losing our cat Jabbos 5 years ago, I received an unique call from a member of the AHNM team telling me about a special dog who needed a home that would do well with a fearful pup. The next day, little Harper chose Caprica as our best friend - and learned to love us as well ;) Both our pups have benefited from the support of the behavior and training teams at AHNM, and the joy they've brought our family is immeasurable.

As a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization, Animal Humane New Mexico receives no city, state or federal funding & relies exclusively on the ongoing generosity of fundraisers, corporate partners & compassionate friends, like you.

Providing vital resources for more than 20,000 New Mexico pets & people annually, Animal Humane would not be able to accomplish what we do without your invaluable support.
