Our story…
I was first diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2013 after having my first (and only) tonic clonic seizure. Two years previous to that I had many focal seizures but I didn't know what they were at the time.
Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario was there for me when I was first diagnosed. I attended one of their information sessions and learned about seizures and epilepsy. It was comforting to know that I was not alone in my Epilepsy journey.
Although my seizures are controlled by medication, I do occasionally have side effects which can be hard to deal with.
Your support for Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario is appreciated so they can continue to educate and provide assistance to those living with Epilepsy.
