ICP Care is a charity very near and dear to my heart. ICP stands for Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy and is a condition I developed late in my first pregnancy and ultimately lost my son to at 39 weeks along in April of 2017. ICP is a medical condition specific to pregnancy that generally appears in the third trimester and if left untreated can have severe adverse outcomes including stillbirth. This non-profit charity’s mission is to provide patient support and education, raise public awareness, support the advancement of research and improve health care practices. They attend medical conferences to spread awareness and work tirelessly to change the standards and guidelines so that pregnant women receive proper and up to date care. Thank you for your support.
