My Story…
I started running to honour my mom who died of breast cancer in 2017 and so that I could do the Run for the Cure and help fundraise.
For years I have dreaded being "old" and "over the hill" but now I realize turning 40 is a privilege, one that I am so grateful for, and so i would like to help those children that will never get a chance. I would also like to prove that 40 can be strong, and that I am probably in the best shape of my life! So I will be running my first ever 40 miler, because what could be a better way to make birthday memories than a seven hour run?
