The Start2Finish 5k Challenge

How fast can you run a 5k?
This is a great, short-term, virtual training group to keep you motivated and disciplined, and is designed to be your race at your pace. Run it anywhere.
As part of this challenge, you will run a 5K at the beginning of July. Choose a local event or any virtual 5K that catches your attention or just run around your neighborhood. You can actually sign up for multiple virtual races and earn lots of bling with one run! You will get a training plan for the month of July designed to improve your 5K time. You will run another timed 5K at the end of July and see how you have progressed. This short-term challenge is designed to help you train smart and stay focused on your weekly training.
This is not a race against others unless of course, you want to start some smack talk with your friends.
The victory is progress over the five-week period.
Remember, this can be:
a) Run your fastest 5K ever or,
b) A benchmark to test your fitness or,
c) A pacing test: pick a time target and try to hit that number or,
d) Just a fun distraction.
