#7Days7Trails for Wellwood:
In the event of Wellwood’s #WRW fundraiser, our team is challenging ourselves to visit 7 local trails across the span of 7 days. Each step will be placed with great intention, thoughtfulness, and respect as we continue to learn and share about those who came and settled before us.
For the duration of the week, we will focus our travels on our own personal commitment to learning more about the traditional Indigenous territories and treaties of Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas, and their respective peoples, history and cultures. We hope to share our learnings broadly as an effort to build greater awareness around our shared responsibility of reconciliation.
