My Story…
Summer 2020 - update - I’d hoped to do 3 swims this year - Long Lake, Chester and Sydney. I received word on Aug 14th that I had an early and unexpected cancellation date for knee replacement surgery Aug 19th - this changed everything. Surgery is all done 🤸♀️! And on Sunday the 16th before the surgery I did one of the 3 swims I’d planned so I could meet my core commitment. GPS evidence and 2 witnesses! Todd Smith offered very kindly to do one of my swims for me by doubling his distance on the 5th! Yeaaaa and a huge thank you Todd! Thank you for everyone who donated already and I hope others will continue to support United Way through my swim this year even if it was done 20 days early! You could also support Todd Smith or any of the other 2020 Open Water swimmers! Thank you!
