#WhyICare - My Story

Friends, As most who know me will attest I love my work in Higher Ed and am privileged to work with a company who cares about our students, communities and our world. It shows in each handcrafted meal we serve and each resulting smile. Our partners in Auxiliary Service work tirelessly to ensure that students are safe and thrive. They accomplish this through the services under their leadership such as dining and housing, to name a few. Now more than ever these services are vital to our students and the campuses they call home. I'm running and fundraising, along with my colleagues from Harvest Table Culinary Group because we believe in the power of a positive campus experience. Please join me if you can, in memory of your college days or for your kids or grandkids. I know that you may already have a few causes that are near and dear to you. So thanks for listening. I’m grateful for your donation of any size. Keep running, walking and dancing! Juliann

Description

The world as we know it is changing. As students return to campus, they face a whole new level of uncertainty. Will they have access to safe and clean housing? Will they be able to afford groceries and toiletries? Research shows that these financial challenges are not new, but they are certainly heightened by the pandemic.

That's why the NACAS Foundation launched their new NACASCARES Annual Giving Campaign: To position auxiliary professionals, the higher education market, and students for success during this unprecedented time. Join me in donating to fund new industry initiatives, including the Campus Care Grantvirtual education experiences, and awards & scholarships.
