#WhyICare - My Story
With thousands of students (some reports say 30% of all college students) worrying about where their next meal is coming from, 1 in 5 students sleeping in cars or someone else’s floor, and the rise in mental health concerns, supporting students in meeting their basic needs is critical to their overall success. The Foundation's Campus Care Grant is one mechanism that provides funding to programs all over that support student basic needs and ultimately help thousands of students. I invite you to donate, spread the word, and help bring support to even more students in need.
Description
The world as we know it is changing. As students return to campus, they face a whole new level of uncertainty. Will they have access to safe and clean housing? Will they be able to afford groceries and toiletries? Research shows that these financial challenges are not new, but they are certainly heightened by the pandemic.
That's why the NACAS Foundation launched their new NACASCARES Annual Giving Campaign: To position auxiliary professionals, the higher education market, and students for success during this unprecedented time.
