My Story…
In light of recent events that are empowering people across the nation to fight for justice and equality for Black lives, I have decided to participate in the JCYC Virtual Aloha Run for Black lives.
Proceeds from the run will be donated to Black Girls Code, the Booker T. Washington Community Service Center, and will provide scholarships for low-income, first generation college students. JCYC is a wonderful organization that supports Black youth, as well as many other under privileged youth in the Bay Area through a variety of development, prevention, and workforce programs.
I encourage everyone to speak out against unequal treatment of Black Lives across the country and to keep this movement going.
Thank you for your support,
Max
