At a time, where so many people in this country are attempting to defending hate as freedom of speech, we need more than ever to speak up for those being targeted. JCYC is committed to fighting for the equity and rights of Black Lives. We cannot move forward to a better future without recognizing racism and oppression in this country and speaking up to fix it. Your donation is one positive step towards a better future. Proceeds from the run will be donated to two organizations serving Black children and youth, Black Girls Code (https://www.blackgirlscode.com/) and the Booker T. Washington Community Service Center (https://btwcsc.org/). A portion of the proceeds will also provide scholarships for low-income, first generation college students.
