For participating in SF Aloha Run for Black Lives

Our story…

For the health and safety of the SF Aloha Run participants, this year's event will be virtual. In solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, the 2020 run has been titled, SF Aloha Run for Black Lives This Fall, between Saturday, September 26 – Sunday, October 4, the non-profit organizers of the Aloha Run, JCYC, hopes to contribute to this global movement by engaging runners and walkers across the country in lifting up messages of equity and justice for Black Lives. All participants will also receive a distinctive race technical t-shirt & medal, along with a unique digital finisher's certificate that is shareable and downloadable. Proceeds from the run will be donated to Black Girls Code, the Booker T. Washington Community Service Center, and will provide scholarships for low-income, first generation college students. This is a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to stand up for Black Lives by participating in an uplifting and healthy activity.
