Despite the difficulties each of us faces with the challenges of the global pandemic, I can’t imagine the enormity of facing these challenges without someplace to call home. Please consider donating to support the good work of Lost-n-Found Youth. On any given night, there are approximately 3,374 young people sleeping on the streets of Atlanta. While LGBTQ+ people represent about five percent of the general population of teens and young adults, they make up 28% of Atlanta’s homeless individuals in the same age range, leaving over 950  LGBTQ+ youth on the streets of Atlanta every night. Many are homeless because they’ve been victims of family rejection and/or abuse after coming out. LnFY provides emergency and transitional housing; helps youth find jobs, complete their education, obtain birth certificates and identification; connects them with available medical and other services. In 2018 LnFY aided >1,000 homeless youth, served >17,000 meals & provided 2,688 nights in warm beds.
