How fast can you run a mile?
If the answer is not fast enough, this is a great, short-term, virtual challenge to keep you motivated and disciplined, and is designed to be your race at your pace.
We've set up a FLAT FAST course for you to get three chip-timed mile runs or you can run them on your own. You choose!
As part of this challenge, you will run a timed mile every two weeks from August 29 to October 10. A timed mile serves as a great workout. This challenge is designed to help you develop speed while learning to hone your pace management skills and mental focus.
The victory is progress over the four-week period! This can be:
- Run your fastest mile ever or,
- A benchmark to test your fitness or,
- A pacing test: pick a time target and try to hit that number or,
- Just a fun distraction.

3 chip-timed mile runs at Rea Farms (or you can run them on your own). 10 minute start intervals with 25 runners per wave. Start at any time within your 10 minute start window. | |
Results submission page to track your one-mile efforts and to keep track of all of your friends times. |
