Our story…
our son, ryan, was diagnosed in 2009 with a mitochondrial disease. the mitochondria convert the energy of food into enzymes that powers most cell functions. ryan lacks the mitochondria to do this. although research is ongoing, treatment is limited. despite the challenges of the disease, to those close to him, knows that he is the strongest, funniest, most outgoing person i know. he is our hero. thank to our family and friends for your love and support.
