For almost thirty years, London Bridge has been hosting the “Kids Helping Kids” annual walkathon to raise money for ChildCan and Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario.
The walkathon began as a way to support a family whose child had received a cancer diagnosis. From there, we partnered with these two amazing organizations and it has become an annual event that has been held during Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
This year, because of COVID-19 we are not able to host this event in the same way as in the past, but we know that cancer does not stop because of a pandemic. This year classroom cohorts will still be walking but we will be collecting our donations online.
