Help Kim raise money

As a lung cancer survivor, I am once again participating in "A Breath of Hope Lung Walk" Saturday August 14th at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis to raise money for A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation.  This will be in celebration of my 6 yr surgical cancer removal success.  I am grateful, thankful, and blessed that my lung cancer was caught in time, although saddened to know a few of my very dear friends were not as lucky.  The walk helps me be with others who may share my similar story and reminds me to appreciate my early detection and all the things that truly matter.  Life can change quickly and I'm so very lucky with all the love and support that surrounds me. 

   
This foundation fights lung cancer - America's deadliest cancer - through research, education, and patient and family support such as rides to treatment for those who face cancer alone.  Their mission is to help change U.S. lung cancer outcomes and to raise awareness as most do not even know they have the disease until it is way too late.    

As a lung cancer survivor, I'm walking to celebrate not only my personal journey but also to honor dear friends who are currently facing or have had to endure this disease without the same outcome as myself.
