My Story...
This year I'll be taking on the challenge of running 10 x 10km in 21 days between May 9th & May 30th. I know... I don't really know why either but here we are!
I'm taking on this challenge to raise money for Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium. Working for this organisation I see first hand how deserving the campers & families we serve truly are. They are among the most resilient, positive and welcoming people I've been lucky enough to meet. Every cent (penny) & dollar (pound) raised goes toward bringing fun to the lives of families affected by childhood cancer in Ontario. It goes toward offering these families quality time together as a family unit and bringing smiles to faces that are facing and have faced one of the hardest challenges.

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant.
For affected kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Camp Ooch offers a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.
They are much more than a summer camp—they offer the social cure for childhood cancer. Their camp-inspired programs deliver fun, friendship, and community to 1,900 kids and 745 families year-round, all across Ontario. As a response to COVID-19, virtual camp and in-hospital programs continue to reach kids and families living in isolation, wherever they are.
