Hello Friends and Family!!!
From the great outdoors to hospital floors—at camp or online—Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium is there for kids affected by childhood cancer and their families. This month I will be participating in the Camp OOCH Sporting Life 10k to make a difference in their lives—join me!
Two years ago I met a wonderful lady Jennifer after chatting she shared with me the story of Ben - her son who suffered from a rare form of brain cancer. Ben's story of his fight and resilience filled me with so much hope and inspiration!!! I was most touched by the stories of Ben's experience at Camp Ooch!!! Knowing how much of an impact summer camp has had on my own life -I was blown away to hear about this amazing camp opportunity for kids with cancer and their families!!!!
You can only imagine how this amazing program offered by Camp Ooch and Trillium has been forced to pivot due to the pandemic - fundraising dollars matter - they help - they save lives - they provide for these families things they need when times are darker than anyone could ever imagine!!!

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant.
For affected kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Camp Ooch offers a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.
They are much more than a summer camp—they offer the social cure for childhood cancer. Their camp-inspired programs deliver fun, friendship, and community to 1,900 kids and 745 families year-round, all across Ontario. As a response to COVID-19, virtual camp and in-hospital programs continue to reach kids and families living in isolation, wherever they are.
