My Story...

Hello friends and family!!!

As you all know Brianna lives and breathes everything

Camp Ooch/Camp Trillium!!!

Over the past couple of years, and especially this past Covid year, you have heard and seen how much this camp means to Brianna! If it weren't for her virtual programs we would not have gotten through the year! Brianna has signed up for every single virtual program, sometimes that's 3 or 4 programs a week!

When Brianna was inpatient at CHEO this past January/February, guess who was by her side? Our beloved camp counselors! They got her through her day with a smile on her face!

Camp Ooch and Trillium has always been there for Brianna, her counselors support and love Brianna and give her the best opportunities to thrive.

Brianna has tried new things, like Ukulele, book club, ballet classes, a trip to a Florida sanctuary, museum adventures, wacky science class, Lego building and even being in a Barenaked Ladies music video!....the list goes on and on!

Camp is a place where Brianna has made friends, where counselors have become family, it is a place where her journey is understood.

Camp Ooch and Trillium is HOME.

Please help us raise money for kids affected with cancer and other illnesses, so KIDS CAN BE KIDS! So they can have a normal childhood between hospital visits, and even at the hospital!

Description

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant.

For affected kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Camp Ooch offers a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.

They are much more than a summer camp—they offer the social cure for childhood cancer. Their camp-inspired programs deliver fun, friendship, and community to 1,900 kids and 745 families year-round, all across Ontario. As a response to COVID-19, virtual camp and in-hospital programs continue to reach kids and families living in isolation, wherever they are.

Please consider making a donation to my fundraising efforts—your gift will make a world of difference!

Cancer changes a child’s life. So does camp. And so can you.
