My Story...
The Ravens class (Grade 4-8) of Muskoka Highlands Academy, along with the Junior Jays (JK-SK) and the Woodpeckers (Grade 1-3) will be running for Camp Ooch this year! We believe all kids should be allowed to be kids and enjoy the great outdoors. Our students, staff and families know how lucky we are to live and enjoy Muskoka all year round. We want to make a difference in the lives of kids and families affected by childhood cancer. On May 30th, the Ravens will walk/run 10K! We are working up to the distance throughout May. Our younger students have been invited to walk/run throughout May and accumulate 10K as a group. Please donate to our team, Muskoka Highlands Academy Ravens and help make a difference!

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant.
For affected kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Camp Ooch offers a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.
They are much more than a summer camp—they offer the social cure for childhood cancer. Their camp-inspired programs deliver fun, friendship, and community to 1,900 kids and 745 families year-round, all across Ontario. As a response to COVID-19, virtual camp and in-hospital programs continue to reach kids and families living in isolation, wherever they are.
