My Story...
Hello Everyone,
As some of you may know, my son was diagnosed with leukemia in May of 2018. There are no words to describe what cancer does to a child, and in in this case, my son. Camp Ooch is a special group of people that help kids and families with cancer and allows them to be kids. The ability for children to go to Camp Ooch is such a blessing, even though a child is still undergoing cancer treatment, they have best doctors and nurses and your child can be a "child". They are also at Sick Kids and helped us pass the time with their smiles and truly connecting with the kids that live there, day in and day out. Please open your heart and consider making a donation to Camp Ooch. The smile you will put on a child's face is priceless!

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant.
For affected kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Camp Ooch offers a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.
They are much more than a summer camp—they offer the social cure for childhood cancer. Their camp-inspired programs deliver fun, friendship, and community to 1,900 kids and 745 families year-round, all across Ontario. As a response to COVID-19, virtual camp and in-hospital programs continue to reach kids and families living in isolation, wherever they are.
