Our Story...
Atticus was diagnosed with Leukaemia in February of 2019. Camp has been a huge part in his treatment. Camp virtual programs have brought Atticus so much joy, laughter, new friendships, and incredible memories. He asks me every single day if it is “Ooch Day”. No matter what kind of day he is having, (good, bad, or ugly) he is always ready for Camp . We are so incredibly grateful for every single person who is involved in these programs. The councilors have made Atticus feel special and important during every virtual program. We are so grateful for the incredible memories so far and for all the time everyone has taken out of their days to support all these kids :) This year we have decided to run the SL10K for Atticus! Please help us in supporting Camp Ooch/Trillium so we can send Atticus and so many others to camp!

A diagnosis of childhood cancer changes life in an instant.
For affected kids and families, it can suddenly feel like everything is about cancer. Camp Ooch offers a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and families connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.
They are much more than a summer camp—they offer the social cure for childhood cancer. Their camp-inspired programs deliver fun, friendship, and community to 1,900 kids and 745 families year-round, all across Ontario. As a response to COVID-19, virtual camp and in-hospital programs continue to reach kids and families living in isolation, wherever they are.
