HDC was established in 1938 as a private, non-profit community mental health center to support people experiencing mental health challenges throughout the Northland. More than 80 years later, HDC’s mission remains to foster hope, resilience, and recovery by providing integrated, culturally respectful mental health and addiction services. HDC is proud to be the Northland’s first and only Minnesota state Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.
