My Story…
As the Manager of Finance and HR for SCIBC I can assure you your donations will be gratefully received and managed well. Our programs are vitally important to those newly injured and those living and aging with a Spinal Cord Injury (and related diseases). This year has been challenging to so many, we have all felt socially isolated at times, but the social isolation and uncertainty can be even more difficult for those living with an SCI or a related disability, as so many rely on interactions with caregivers and family. During this year our team of amazing staff and volunteers have been there to provide support and programming to lessen the impacts of COVID and allow our members to adjust, adapt and thrive. This year I will be hand cycling a minimum of 5K to experience cycling as someone with limited mobility might. Thank you for your support, I am proud to be raising funds for this awesome organization.
