My Story…
I have been working with this wonderful organization for over 20 years. And I can honestly say that even after all this time, I am still amazed by the impact we have. Every day I get to see and hear stories of people with a spinal cord injury who are thriving because of our programs – like adapted kayaking, camping and even rock climbing. Since the COVID pandemic started, we have been offering virtual activities such as adapted boxing, online board games and cooking classes to keep everyone active, engaged and mentally healthy. I am so proud that we give people the skills, confidence and friendships to move forward in their new lives. I hope you'll join me as I fundraise my way to another impactful year for Spinal Cord Injury BC. This year’s race will be virtual again. Our team members will be running, wheeling and cycling in parks, sidewalks and living rooms around BC in order to maintain social distancing. I have personally committed to walking 50K during the month of June. Please dig around in your purses, pockets and couches. Every little bit helps. Thanks!
