My Story…
Coming off the success of last year’s 5x5K in the Virtual Cleveland Marathon, I’m dusting off the hamstrings to run a 10K this year on Saturday, May 15. I’m hoping to raise $2400 in honor of 24 families who lost a loved one to the effects of brain trauma whose stories I’ve helped write for CLF’s website. I’m running for Sam Boghosian, Lou Creekmur, Jared Crippen, Tom DeLeone, Dennis Fase, Hunter Foraker, Jason Franklin, Matt Gee, Bill Geisdorf, Darryl Hammond, Evan Hansen, Jim Houston, Gerald Huth, Kenny Keys, Gus Lee, Matthew Martinez, Tommy McDonald, Colin Meany, Julian Merlino, Ron Perryman, Eric Wainwright, Fulton Walker, Jesse Whittenton, and Dennis Wirgowski.
Your gift will help us at CLF support those suffering from the effects of concussion and suspected CTE and advance research to prevent, diagnose, and eventually cure CTE. There may be some bonus mileage if we can hit our fundraising goal before race day!
