Help Pamela raise money

For participating in 2021 Cleveland Marathon

My Story…

Twenty years ago, I dissected (tore) three of the four arteries that supply blood flow to my brain, and I had a small stroke. My life was forever changed, and my running days as I knew them were over. I was diagnosed with a rare disease called Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD). The disease is now thought to affect millions, and the majority of the patients diagnosed are women. Signs and symptoms of FMD include migraines, high blood pressure, stroke, aneurysms, heart attack, and pulsatile tinnitus (swooshing noise heard in your ear). This will be my first run in a couple of years, and it's not going to be easy, but it's important that we as patients continue to stay involved, share our stories and raise awareness.
