My Story…
My Story's a long one, with an unexpected start that I would have never expected when I was a kid growing up. When your young and naïve, you really don't appreciate the world around you and what you have, until it hits your right in the face. The dose of reality. That hit me when my life changed forever going into my senior year of high school. Finding out my mom got diagnosed with stage 4 lung Cancer. The Origin of my story with running is told though here, some very nice people wrote an article about me explaining the start to this journey.
Somehow, against all odd's in regards to myself, I made a difference. I don't know how, I don't know why, but my mission that I did out of personal importance to myself and mother, impacted the lives of so many others. I got to see first hand the difference it made for people, and that's why I'm here today. The people and their families fighting this absolute hell of a disease are struggling. I'm here to fight with those families; to inspire hope back into those who stopped looking for it. If I made a hell of a difference before without even trying, imagine what I'm going to accomplish giving it my 100% effort this time. I'm fighting for YOU, join the battle with me, because hope is all we have. Time to kick this thing to the curb, I hope you can do this with me!
