My Story…
Thank you!!!!
So many of you have contributed to Haiti H2O each year during the marathon weekend in Pittsburgh. I am so thrilled to share this video of the Corn Grinder in Baissin Caimman.
Now, the women don't have to walk 4 hours for this basic food staple to be processed AND people are employed to operate this business. We could not have gotten this project working without contributions from people like you.
I also have great news to share from Melionare!
Just a year ago, children were attending school in this "shell" of a building. Now the walls of a brand new school have been erected by the people of that community and funded by caring folks from here in the states.
It's a win-win. Partnership creates empowerment.
Haiti H2O has been partnering with these communities for over 12 years and people like you have made these projects a reality.
There is still more to do. Will you join me this year and sponsor my race to improve the lives of my friends in Haiti? Every dollar helps.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Description
Haiti H2O is a development organization based in Pittsburgh partnering to transform hope into opportunity in rural Haiti. Our approach is to take time to listen to local leaders and invest in their ideas, empowering them to make positive change. We currently work with four rural communities in areas such as education, health and sanitation, business initiatives, home construction, and livestock cooperative. H2O invests the money raised to impact the lives of people in rural Haiti! Learn more about the work https://haitih2o.org/
