Special Olympics Hamilton County

Since the inception of SOHC, our mission has been to provide year-round training and competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience the joy of achievement, be included in the community, build skills and make friends.

Thanks to generous supporters, we are able to serve nearly 2,000 athletes each year. The importance of community support can scarcely be overstated. SOHC receives no government or United Way funding so community giving and support is vital to ensuring our athletes can continue to experience the joy of sports.
