Help us raise money

We are so excited to be joining a team of lovely, strong and bright women in this year's 2021 Venus de Miles event.  We have a goal to raise $2,000 for Greenhouse Scholars, to help more people in our community.  

Your donation goes to support 28 under-resourced young adults through all four years of college and often graduate school. Whether it’s scholarships and grants to pay for books or a new laptop, providing access to mentors, leadership courses, and networking opportunities, Greenhouse Scholars has successfully helped 275 students reach their full potential since its founding.

“Our scholars are the epitome of the American Dream in many cases,” Pool said. “They have first-hand experience with some of our county’s biggest challenges and have proven that despite those challenges they are smart, motivated and hard working, so they are going to lead others in changing their communities.

The program surrounds them with a community of support, like the riders of Venus de Miles, to help them get the resources, tools, education and networks needed to implement change.”
