The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Since 1955, LLSC has been on the forefront of blood cancer advances such as chemotherapies and stem cell transplantation leading the way to the targeted therapies and immunotherapies that are saving thousands of lives today. In addition to funding critical lifesaving research, the LLSC offers numerous free support services to patients and families affected by blood cancers.
La Société de leucémie et lymphome du Canada a pour mission de trouver un remède contre laleucémie, le lymphome, la maladie de Hodgkin et le myélome, tout en améliorant la qualité de vie des patients et de leur famille.
Depuis 1955, la SLLC joue un rôle de premier plan quant aux progrès réalisés face au cancer du sang, notamment dans les secteurs de la chimiothérapie et des greffes de cellules souches, ouvrant ainsi la voie aux traitements ciblés et à l’immunothérapie, qui sauvent maintenant des milliers de vies.
