Two years ago, my objective was to walk 10 feet, with a walker. 

Today, I am blessed to walk unassisted. While things will never be the same, hope has restored me. I wouldn't be where I am today without the support of the Ottawa Hospital, as well as with other local community hospitals and my physiotherapist. Family and friends held me up as well, when I could not. 

My objective is to walk/jog 10km - a far cry from 10 feet, in their honor. And to prove, that no matter what, it makes sense.
