As part of a team for the Scotiabank Charity Challenge for the Tamarack Ottawa Race event, I am fundraising for a great cause and I hope I can rely on your support! Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA) is a reintegration program, based on restorative justice principles, to assist people who have been incarcerated for sexual offenses and seek CoSA's help voluntarily to develop a meaningful and safe life in the community. CoSA Ottawa is one of 15 CoSA sites operating across Canada and, based on research indicating that CoSA reduces re-offense rates by 70-80%, CoSA now operates in many countries worldwide. Given that CoSA began in Hamilton, Ontario in 1994, we can all be proud that made-in-Canada CoSA is helping to make our communities safer. Any donation – large or small – is much appreciated!
