Mon histoire…
This month I am celebrating 6 years post my lung cancer diagnosis. I have been blessed with unbelievable support from my wonderful family, friends, medical team and the lung cancer community, through all of the ups and downs of this journey. After 3 and a half years off treatment entirely, I have recently had some small progression and am back on immunotherapy, a new innovative drug that has already worked miracles for me and our family. Lung cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and kills more people each year than the next 3 most common cancers combined. We need more awareness, screening, treatments, research and advocacy. With a small, effective staff, Lung Cancer Canada advocates every day for new drug approvals, screening programs, awareness, research and most recently, vaccination priority for lung cancer patients. Any amount you may be able to contribute to the excellent work done by Lung Cancer Canada will make a difference. Thank you for all of your support. I am deeply grateful.
