In late 1989 my father, Carter, was diagnosed with cancer. He received incredible treatment from the physicians and nurses at The Ottawa Hospital but unfortunately passed away in July 1990. In the past six years, my mom Sandy has had cancer twice and has is winning the fight with this disease thanks to all the support she has received from many at The Ottawa Hospital.
The Ottawa Hospital has some of the top researchers in the world fighting this disease right here in our city. We are raising funds to help in finding a cure for this disease.
