My Story…
Scotiabank Charity Challenge. Please support my run for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
My dad was in the Army in WW2, when Hitler and the Nazis were defeated, he returned home and continued his studies in Architecture. Met my Mum at a local cycling club. They built their first small home together. He worked for the same building company all his life, and on the weekends, spent much time upgrading the homes we lived him. All the while the family grew, and he had 10 beautiful children, who are still here today.
Dad, this race is for you. Your struggle with Lymphoma cut your life short on retiring, (age 68) just when your life was finally yours to Rest up, Relax and Have some Me time :(
In 2019 just before the May Race weekend, I suffered an inijury that put me right out of action for a year. I rested up, and slowiy worked towards picking up where I left off. This year, at 65, I am still determined, and with your help and support I am gong to run the 10K on May 24th. in less than 60 minutes!
Thank you Dad for all your support and encouragement, when I was growing up. It has helped me throughout my life.
Please help support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada., your donations will give others who are affected by Blood cancers
THANK YOU! For your support
