Why I'm Running...

I have been a dedicated volunteer at the Perley Rideau since Grade 9 when I visited during the Bring Your Child to Work Day. Now in my graduating year, I have enjoyed portering residents, welcoming residents during Roman Catholic Mass, assisting with Bingo and providing support in the arts and craft studios. 

Although COVID-19 has suspended my volunteering duties, my training for the 10 km Walk will help make sure I am as fit as a fiddle and ready when I return to see my friends at The Perley Rideau.
