I'm excited about this opportunity to Run for a Cause to support practice changing research for mental health at The Ottawa Hospital through the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

I arrived here in August 2020 with a vision to develop and engage in interdisciplinary, team-based research with real potential to improve the care we provide.  We have several recruits joining us this summer with interests in research and we want to equip them to meet this mission and offer hope for our patients and their families.  To help us select projects likely to change practice, we will create a committee of patient/family stakeholders and clinicians to determine how these funds are spent.  All proceeds will fund clinical research in our department.
