Working for The Ottawa Hospital has been a life-changing experience in more ways than one. Our patients are inspiring, our researchers are world-leading, and our healthcare workers....well, after this past year they are nothing short of heroes. I've been running daily throughout the pandemic to stay sane. Nothing too far, sometimes just a quick jog with the dog, but now I am going to Run for a Reason as part of TEAM ROB!! My beautiful and talented co-worker Tara lost her husband to cancer. I am hoping to raise $500 for our hospital and to contribute to her team's goals, to honour her and Rob, and to help these stories of cancer be a thing of the past. I will be completing my 5K in the next few days so give BIG! (please and thank you!).
